Windsurfing is a wind driven sport that is perfect on the Island. From experienced windsurfers to beginners, the waters of the Laguna Madre Bay offer a fun and safe area to ride on. The entire bay north of the Causeway is approx four and a half feet deep when at high tide. If you fall from the board….stand up! This is a fun sport that's not too hard to learn. It is a good idea to take some lessons when you get ready to try windsurfing. You will first learn about the fundamentals about the sport and how to windsurf safely.
