Beach volley ball is the most popular beach sport. South Padre Island is home to the Texas professional Volleyball championships. There are courts up and down the beach behind various hotels. The most popular volleyball beach courts are located at Boomerang Billiys, at beach access Surf Circle and the Wanna Wanna Beach access. The courts are free to anyone that simply has a ball and wants to play. Drinks and snacks are also available at these venues. |
