Why get a tour of the island from land? Try a water tour on a brand new Jet ski (wave-runner, personal watercraft) These tours are an hour and a half long and start on the Island and shoot across (following the bridge) to Port Isabel. The tour continues on the water through the city's channels and off to the Ship Yards, Yacht Club and Shrimping Industry. Then and over to Dolphin Cove in search of Dolphins. After the dolphin watch cruise around the jetties over to the gulf side. Don't forget your waterproof camera cause there is going to be numerous photo opportunities.
