South Padre Island Parks

Located on the northern end of the Island lies Andy Bowie Park. This couty park offers a shadded picnic pavillion that is right on the beach. This park contains concessions, playgrounds, showers and RV hook ups.

Edwin K. Atwood Park is north of the Andy Bowie park and has a beach access to allow vehicals to drive on the beach. This is the main access people use.

Isla Blanca park is on the southern end of the Island. For a cost of four dollars and fifty cents vehicals gain access to the park. This park contains RV hook ups, shaded pavillion, great surfing, jetty fishing, Dolphin Cove Bar & Grill and the coastal studies lab. This is a popular side of the Island for locals to go and hang out at Dolphin Cove, where the dolphins feed.
