Buses, Airport taxis, and rental cars are available at all International Airports. Some hotels offer shuttle rides from airports to hotels. Getting around the Island is not difficult at all. South Padre has a FREE shuttle system "The Wave" that travels continuously up and down the Island and over the causeway to Port Isabel and back from 7am to 7pm everyday.If the shuttle is not in your interest, TAXI cabs are available twenty- four hours a day for a price of about four dollars per person anywhere on the Island.
